WHAT IS TECHCRED?
CONTRACTED TRAINING
NCUS TEC is recognized as an approved Area 11 training provider in Ohio. NCUS TEC works with employers to ensure training is designed to meet the needs of a specific employer, or group of employers. Once employees receive their certification, the company will receive reimbursement for all trainings received. NCUS TEC is an approved TechCred provider. Please read below for more information on this initiative.

TechCred helps Ohioans learn new skills and helps employers build a stronger workforce with the skills needed in a technology-infused economy. These technology-focused credentials take a year or less to complete and prepare current and future employees for the technology jobs Ohio employers need.
No matter what industry you work in, technology impacts the future of your business and the nature of your work. TechCred helps Ohioans learn new skills and helps employers build a stronger workforce with the skills needed in a tech-infused economy. Many of these trainings can be completed online!
Ohio's TechCred Program gives employers the chance to upskill current and future employees in today’s tech-infused economy.
Any Ohio registered employer that employs Ohio resident W-2 employees is eligible to apply. Employers of all sizes and in all industries are encouraged to apply. Only one application will be accepted per employer per application period. Agencies of the State of Ohio are not eligible to receive reimbursement. Additionally, training providers are not eligible to receive reimbursement for employees trained in-house. If a training provider wishes to utilize TechCred to upskill their employees, they must use an outside training provider.
Employers who submit successful applications will be reimbursed up to $2,000 per credential when current or prospective employees complete eligible technology-focused credentials.

The Program: Learn, Connect, and Earn We are offering a comprehensive 10-hour in-person training designed to take you from the basics to digital confidence.
Location: NCUS TEC Campus, 899 E. Broad Street, Columbus, OH.
Format: In-person, hands-on instruction with supportive trainers.

Internet safety and cybersecurity awareness.
Using productivity tools for work and life.
Earn a Free Device We are committed to your long-term success. Upon successful completion of the 10-hour training course, eligible participants will receive a free digital device to take home. This ensures you have the tools you need to apply your new skills immediately.
